Subject: Alright!

Dear Masa-san, OK! I will tell Iwane-san, Setsuko-san, Yoshiyuki-san and his daughter Hiromi-san, what you wrote me in your email.

Yes! You have a nice family in Japan!! All your relatives in Japan are now thinking of you!
We Japanese are not good at expressing our own thought or feeling. We are educated not to express them directly. I am an exception. Because my father who was born in America and brought up there educated me to express my own opinion directly. So it was a bit difficult for me to live in Japan. The culture of America and Japan is so different.

Your family members in Japan are thinking what we can cheer you up. We talked about it.
"Let's send Masa-san flowers "said Setsuko-san. I said "I will bring flowers to Masa-san in San Diego." Then Setsuko-san said "It is important to send flowers FROM JAPAN.""Oh, yes! I think so."said I.
(I got them today, they were absolutely magnificent!)

Aoki Hisao-san who is the cousin of Koinuma Shosaku-san asked me to bring something he can comfort you. So I chose 3 music CD for you. He likes you very much and he investigated hardly about Hisa-san great grandmother of you.

Yoshiyuki-san (also from Tokyo) will go to San Diego with his daughter, Kou-san is also worrying you and gave telephone to Japan to his mother Sumiko-san the elder sister of Iwane-san from California.
Ihei-san and Kazuko-san in Kanuma ask me to tell their words to you when I go to San Diego. I think I shall explain their words to help you understand the important meaning they want to tell you.

Iwane-san and Setuko-san wants to go to San Diego and see you, but Iwane-san is sick and they cannot go even to Kanuma. So they are feeling sorry that they cannot travel to San Diego and see you.

And Masa-san, it is a secret now but I want to surprise you in San Diego. I will bring letters from several Japanese!

Yoko-san is going to help me to do something for you in San Diego. Nice plan!

Masa-san, Genki-dashite!!
(Be well!)
We Japanese family are always thinking of you!!
Someone said to me. "Masa has the SAMURAI SPIRIT". I do think so, too!
We are with always with you! Please never forget that, Masa-san. We love you and we are proud of you.
Masa-san, Masa-san, Masa-san. I will do everything you want me to do in San Diego.
Please wait for my arrival ! The day after tomorrow I will leave Japan.

Aishite-iruyo!
(I love you) Masa-san.
