Masa ( in Japanese, the name Masa means- straight forward.)
So suited to you!!

I had written pages and pages of how you have affected my life, and I see already many have told you the same wonderful words in different ways, with different memories but all with the same awe and respect. So instead I prayed and asked for words that will comfort you Masa on your journey to your resting place. (although I don't think for one second you will be resting!)

You are such a beautiful woman, in every way and have touched so many lives. Thank you for changing mine, even now, today.

The flower is in your honor, made from the gems you have worn in your lifetime. I will cherish the lovely jewelry and think of you as I wear each one.

So Masa, my treasure, begin your transition with peace in your heart and know we shall meet again one day.

I love you,
Terri Acker

Cherokee Prayer Blessing
So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide. Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, Even a stranger, when in a lonely place. When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the food and For the joy of living. When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts Are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes They weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again In a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.

May the Warm Winds of Heaven, Blow softly upon your house. May the Great Spirit, Bless all who enter there. May your moccasins make happy tracks in many snows and may the rainbow always touch your shoulder.
~
Give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way.
The soul would have no rainbow if the eyes had no tears.
